A couple of days before the wedding, Mark's dad planned a surprise for us. He arranged to have Jon Schmidt come to Grantsville and perform for us all. Jon Schmidt is a composer and pianist known for a lot of his work. He wrote "All of Me" and "Waterfall" both of which are on EFY CDs. He also has recently composed an AMAZING piece called "Love Story meets Viva La Vida". It's a mix of Taylor Swifts "Love Story" and Coldplay's "Viva La Vida" It is seriously amazing!
He was a great performer! He had all of us (Mark's ENTIRE family was there) laughing! He played the piano upside down and with his feet.
Serenity's (Mark's cousin) little girl Taylor was dancing right along to the music.
Mark also got the chance to play! Everyone insisted that he take a turn, I wish I had a video of him. He sounded amazing too!
